SAN JUAN CITY INTEGRATED SHINES AT THE DIVISION FESTIVAL OF TALENTS
Talents are gifts that often harbor recognition and significant contributions to respective fields serving as inspiration to push to whatever possible boundaries.
Talent is not just a result of hard work and effort but a blend of inborn potential and dedication to hone and refine those abilities, prospering in unique ways.
Last March 21, 2024 at San Juan City, the “DIVISION FESTIVAL of TALENTS” under the theme “Galing, Talino, at Husay ng mga Batang Makabansa sa Diwa ng Matatag na Adhika” was held and San Juan City Integrated School (SJCIS) emerged on the first spot. The competition exhibited the rare talents of students from Districts 1 and 2 of San Juan City.
In the spirit of competitiveness, San Juan City Integrated School participants delivered an outstanding performance in the Folk Dance Competition as they captivated the audience with their interpretation of “REGATONES” which is a dance portraying the fish vendors from Cadiz City, Negros Occidental. Dr. Leonardo P. Dagum, Education Program Supervisor of MAPEH and Chair of the Board of Judges, looked after the evaluation process and applauded every participant in the competition. Eventually, SJCIS was declared the First Place winner and advanced to the Regional Festival of Talents.
Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Margarito B. Materum, CESO IV, addressed the audience as he emphasized the idea of nurturing young talent as crucial for the development of Gen Z. It is by unlocking their potential that they will be empowered to make significant contributions to society.
A message from Dr. Josefino C. Pogoy, Jr., Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division culminated the event, highlighting the essence of creating an environment that supports and celebrates the development of young leaders.
Overall, the ability of the new generation lies in the ability of the elders to foster capabilities and to regenerate the intelligence and emotional quotient of San Juan City’s young achievers, ultimately molding the coming times filled with creativity, innovation, and breakthroughs.
