Basta Akademiko, Masigasig at Pursigido: SJC Academic Senior High School 7th Recognition Day

Recognition Day is an annual event that aims to honor individuals or groups for their outstanding accomplishments, contributions, and dedication. It serves as a platform to celebrate achievements across various fields such as academics, sports, arts, community service, and more. This special day not only acknowledges the hard work put in by individuals but also inspires others to strive for excellence. On July 11th, 2023, San Juan City Academic Senior High School celebrated its 7th Recognition Day at San Juan Elementary School Covered Court with the theme: “K to 12 Graduates: Molded through a Resilient Educational Foundation”

The Program started with Mrs. Maria Aileen B. Callorina, the Principal of the school for her welcoming remarks, followed by an inspiratioin message by Mrs. Marnelli B. Tolentino, the Education Program Supervisor – English. The awardees from STEM 11, ABM 11, HUMSS 11 A, HUMSS 11 B, GAS 11 A, GAS 11 B, STEM 12, ABM 12, HUMSS 12, and GAS 12 were given medals to honor their great success. Bronze medals were awarded to students with honors, and silver medals to students with high honors. After the awarding for every section, the special awards were given recognition for their success not only in academics but also in sports, arts, and community service. The Special Awards were TIMO, Big Bei Bay, DSPC Agham at Teknolohiya, Radio Broadcasting, Division Youth Camp, DSPC Pagsulat ng Balita, DSPC Best Technical for Filipino Radio Broadcasting, DSCP Best Scriptwriter, DSPC Overall Champions, and many more. Ms. Joy Anmae Abrera, overall Top 1 of Grade 12 and Ms. Angela Rose Mae Villas, overall top 1 of Grade 11 had their speech of gratitude in which they took the opportunity to thank everyone for their success in their academics and to remind everyone that success is in the palms of our hands.
