SJES holds SOSA 2019

SJES was filled with the buzz last November 18 and 19, 2019 as parents, guardians, and other stakeholders flocked to the school to grace the occasion for our SOSA (State of the School Address). In attendance on the first day of our SOSA were the parents of the primary level namely Kinder to Grade 3. On the second day, the intermediate parents from Grade 4 to 6 were present. Councilor Kit Peralta of San Juan City Government and Ms. Ana Marie Hernandez from Division office of San Juan City graced the occasion. Councilor Peralta enthusiastically informed the parents and other stockholders on the projects that the city government is planning on providing more cash incentives for our academic achievers. He thanked the teachers for their unwavering support for the children of San Juan City. Likewise, he gladly reported the purchase of laptops for teachers so on behalf of the Mayor, he extended his warm greetings to the parents in attendance. Ms. Anna Marie Hernandez congratulated the school and the parents on their continuous cooperation for the betterment of their children. Further, she gave her words of wisdom to the parents and teachers on behalf of our OIC-SDS Ms. Cecille G. Carandang, CESO VI.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lloyd T. Tulaylay, our proactive and charismatic principal, discussed the different projects and programs that the school provided our learners to make them more engaged, be more productive and bring with them lifelong learnings. The school is glad to report its triumphs and needs for improvement. Some of the projects cited were Project LIPAD PA (Linangin, Isipin, Pagyamanin, Akademikong Dumadaloy at Pagsasanay) which aims to help learners harness their skills in all subject areas; ANAK KO MAHAL KO - a partnership of the school and the parents to develop good study habits of kids and promote bonding time with their children; PMMMP( Pag-usapan natin sa Maayos, Mahinahon, at Magalang na Paraan) Campaign – promote open communication of parents and the school, that San Juan continually strives to provide better facilities and learning materials that can help improve the performance of all learners.

As our dear principal always says, “We are part of a Triangle (composing Teaching and non-teaching, Learners, and Parents), working together we can achieve anything. #We Care #We make a difference.”
