SDO SAN JUAN INAUGURATES THE FIRST-EVER SAN JUAN CITY SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL

The Division of San Juan City and the Local Government of San Juan collaboratively inaugurated the new school building that will house the first-ever San Juan City Science High School last June 28 2019 at Barangay St. Joseph, San Juan City.


The occasion was graced by various stakeholders who had extended help in the realization of this long-time dream of the San Juaneños to have an educational hub that would cater to the scientific and innovative minds of the young learners of San Juan. Among those who were part of the historic inauguration were the local chief executive of the City, Madam Guia G. Gomez who was a catalyst of this project, Dr. Alejandro G. Ibañez, OIC-SDS of SDO San Juan, Mrs. Flordelisa D. Pereyra-OIC-ASDS, former OIC-SDS Dr. Joel T. Torrecampo, Mr. Cesar A.Camayra, Principal of SJNHS, principals of the eight elementary schools, some members of the City Council, GPTA officers, parents, students and other stakeholders.


The inauguration activity involved the unveiling of the memorial marker of the Science Building and Ribbon-cutting ceremonies that both signify the readiness of the facilities of the new educational landmark for the current school year.

One of the highlights of the program was the Inspirational Speech of the beloved Mayor of the City, Madam Guia G. Gomez who said in her speech, “The Science High School is a dream come true not only for the officials of DepEd and the LGU but also for the people of San Juan.”


In his message, Dr. Alejandro G. Ibañez, OIC-SDS of San Juan City, thanked all the stakeholders in bringing forth the realization of the Science High School as a beacon of educational excellence in the division. “Our collaborative efforts to increase the access to quality education will not be possible without all of your selfless contribution, most especially, the City Government through Madam Guia G. Gomez, whose constant support made us achieved more”, Dr. Ibañez said.

The Science High School Building came into reality as part of the Priority Projects of the outgoing Mayor of the City, Hon. Guia G. Gomez, crystallizing her vision of solidifying the education excellence status of the City for the brilliant youth of San Juan. ![endif]--![endif]--
