San Juan City SDO and Government Officials Break Ground to Launch SHS and Science HS Building Constr
San Juan City Mayor Guia G. Gomez and San Juan City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Joel T. Torrecampo led the Groundbreaking Ceremony of San Juan City Senior High School and San Juan City Science High School Buildings on February 28, 2017 at Pinaglabanan St., in Barangay Saint Joseph, San Juan City. The recent groundbreaking marks the realization of the joint dream of City Mayor Guia G. Gomes and Dr. J. T. Torrecampo.
Two four-storey school buildings with 20 classrooms each—another priority project of Mayor Guia Gomes and the government of San Juan City--will soon rise within the proximity of a proposed government complex in Brgy. Saint Joseph. Each school building is projected to accommodate the anticipating enrolment growth of senior high school and Science high school as well as to provide state-of-the-art learning facilities to the young San Juaneños. According to Mayor Guia Gomes, the buildings are expected to be completed on 2018.
In solidarity, City Vice Mayor Janella E. Estrada and some City Councilors were present in the ceremony. Furthermore, the different school principals of San Juan City were present, together with the City Schools Division Education Supervisors, parents, and teachers were among the spectators.
