Tayag Wins the SJNHS Elimination Round on BSP Oratorical Contest

The 15 year-old Grade 10-Rizal student won the top spot of the Elimination round of 4th BSP Oratorical Contest with the theme “Maximize Use of Statistics Towards Health and Opportunities for All” held on August 28, 2015. It was organized by the English Department of San Juan National High School.

Jerahmeel N. Tayag, Jr. bested 2 other contenders from his same grade and section in the Grade 10 level namely, Joemar V. Kabigting and Ela Mae D. Isidoro. Tayag took home a Champion certificate for this recognition.

The contest is meant to enhance nationwide awareness, appreciation, and value all statistics to the different sectors of the society and elicit the cooperation and support of the general public in upgrading the quality and standards of statistics in the country.

The awarding ceremonies took place at the San Juan National High School Audio Visual Room on August 28, 2015. Mr. Jorge G. Ulanday, English teacher and Club adviser served as the program host.
